EVACUATION ALERT  SYSTEMS (EAS)
BS8629:2019

Evacuation Alert Systems (EAS) were introduced to England & Scotland in 2019. These systems have been put in place and are legally required in all new residential buildings over 18m in height.

Designed as a further life safety measure to enable the fire service to initiate a full building evacuation should the building emergency situation no longer be manageable.

Regular testing and maintenance by a competent person is essential to make sure the system operates reliably when needed and helps ensure ongoing compliance with UK fire safety requirements.

We provide a complete end-to-end service, covering everything from system design and installation through to commissioning, fault finding, and ongoing maintenance. This means we don’t just install systems — we make sure they are correctly designed for the building, fully tested, working as intended, and properly maintained throughout their lifespan, giving our customers confidence and peace of mind.
